The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) conferred the 2026 Most Business-Friendly Local Government Unit Special Citation Award on the provincial government during ceremonies held Tuesday at the Manila Hotel.
The recognition underscores Camarines Sur's commitment to creating an enabling environment for commerce and enterprise development. The award was presented during the 52nd Philippine Business Conference, an annual gathering that brings together business leaders, policymakers, and industry stakeholders from across the nation.
The citation reflects the province's success in implementing policies and programs designed to streamline business operations, reduce bureaucratic barriers, and encourage economic activity. Officials credited these initiatives with contributing to increased investment flows and employment opportunities for residents.
