The State Secretariat of Civil Aviation announced on November 2 that service on the Phnom Penh-Vientiane route will commence with flights scheduled for Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The decision marks a restoration of air connectivity between the two regional hubs following an earlier suspension of the service.

The tri-weekly flight schedule is designed to facilitate both business and leisure travel between Cambodia and Laos, strengthening transportation links within Southeast Asia. Techo International Airport serves as Cambodia's primary aviation gateway, while Wattay International Airport functions as the main air hub for Laos.

The resumption of scheduled air service between the two capitals reflects growing efforts to enhance regional connectivity and support economic ties across the Mekong region. Officials did not disclose the specific airline operator or provide additional details regarding passenger capacity and pricing for the restored route.
