Canada coach Marsch demands tough action against Manchester City

Canada's national team coach Jesse Marsch has publicly called for Manchester City to receive significant punishment from the Premier League over alleged breaches of financial regulations.

Marsch, speaking on October 4, based his assertion on firsthand experience managing against the English club. He contended that his observations from the touchline revealed what he characterised as inconsistencies in how City conducted its affairs.

The comments add to mounting scrutiny of Manchester City, which faces multiple allegations of financial rule breaches. The club has consistently denied wrongdoing and pledged to defend itself vigorously against the charges.
