Cancel G.O. 9, clear pending fee reimbursement dues: Krishnaiah

R. Krishnaiah has urged authorities to scrap Government Order 9, citing the urgent need to resolve a substantial backlog in fee reimbursement payments. The outstanding dues, amounting to around ₹8,000 crore, have created significant financial strain on educational institutions across the region.

The fee reimbursement scheme, designed to support students from economically weaker sections, has faced implementation challenges under the current administrative framework.
