Cao Bang launches 160 tourism packages to drive year-end travel surge

Cao Bang's tourism stimulus campaign runs from October 1 through December 31 under the banner 'Easy travel – Complete experiences,' positioning the province as an accessible destination offering diverse travel opportunities. The 160 promotional packages span accommodation, dining, transportation and guided experiences, with pricing and offerings tailored to appeal to different visitor segments and budgets.

The programme represents a coordinated effort among 110 participating businesses, organisations and individual operators across the province's tourism sector. Participants range from hotels and restaurants to transport providers and tour companies, indicating broad industry support for the initiative aimed at capitalising on seasonal travel demand.

Cao Bang, home to the UNESCO-recognised Non Nuoc Cao Bang Global Geopark, has positioned sustainability and cultural preservation as core elements of its tourism strategy. The stimulus campaign aligns with broader provincial efforts to develop tourism that supports local communities and protects the region's natural heritage and traditional crafts.

The campaign reflects broader regional trends of Vietnamese provinces launching targeted promotions to recover tourism momentum during key travel periods. Officials expect the coordinated packages to demonstrate competitive advantages over rival destinations while establishing Cao Bang as a preferred choice for year-end travel in Southeast Asia.
