Caraga police arrest seven in major anti-drug operations

SAN FRANCISCO, Agusan del Sur — Law enforcement units across the Caraga region conducted simultaneous anti-narcotics operations that resulted in the arrest of seven drug suspects and the seizure of nearly half a million pesos in suspected methamphetamine.

Brig. Gen. Rolindo Suguilon, director of Police Regional Office 13 (PRO-13), confirmed the successful operations were carried out by city and municipal police units on October 31. The coordinated effort targeted drug distribution networks operating throughout the region.

The confiscated shabu, valued at P448,249, represents a significant disruption to narcotics trafficking in Caraga. Police officials credited the region-wide coordination among local law enforcement agencies for the operation's success.

The seven arrested suspects are currently in custody and facing charges related to possession and distribution of controlled substances. PRO-13 has renewed its commitment to sustained anti-drug operations across the region as part of broader national efforts to combat illegal drug trade.
