Cashfree Payments narrows losses to ₹118.5 crore as revenue surges 51%

Cashfree Payments India Private Limited has substantially narrowed its consolidated net losses to ₹118.5 crore in the financial year ended March 2026, marking a significant improvement from the ₹154 crore loss recorded in FY25. The fintech company's financial performance reflects a dramatic turnaround in its operational metrics, with revenue from operations climbing 51 per cent year-on-year to ₹967.4 crore from ₹640.1 crore previously.

Total revenue, including other income of ₹5.04 crore, reached ₹972.5 crore during the fiscal period. The company's expense trajectory, however, expanded to ₹1,090.9 crore in FY26 compared to ₹794.7 crore in the preceding year. Despite the overall cost increase, employee benefit expenses declined marginally to ₹239.3 crore from ₹243.4 crore, indicating disciplined human resource management amid the company's growth phase.

The financial results underscore Cashfree Payments' progress toward achieving profitability as the payments sector in India witnesses accelerating digital adoption. The company's trajectory of narrowing losses while scaling revenue positions it favourably within the competitive fintech landscape, where multiple players are racing to capture market share in India's rapidly expanding digital payments ecosystem.
