MANILA — Senators Alan Peter Cayetano and Pia Cayetano arrived in the Philippines on Saturday, concluding their visit to Singapore. The former Senate president shared news of their return through a Facebook post on Saturday evening, stating that they had returned to their home country.
Cayetano expressed his appreciation for their safe journey, noting in his social media update that they were back in the Philippines. Senator Pia Cayetano also acknowledged their arrival through her own social media channels.
The trip to Singapore, details of which were not immediately disclosed, marked the siblings' brief absence from the country. Both senators have maintained active roles in Philippine legislative matters and public service.
