The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened a correction window for schools to amend their List of Candidates (LOC) submissions for the 2026-27 academic year. Educational institutions can make corrections and modifications to their previously submitted LOC data through November 4, enabling schools to rectify any discrepancies or errors in student records before the final deadline.

According to CBSE guidelines, no separate correction fee has been stipulated for schools utilizing this amendment window. This provision ensures that institutions can address data inconsistencies without bearing additional financial burden during the correction period.

The board has clarified that late submission fees apply only after the initial LOC submission deadline has passed. Schools that submit their LOC during the designated correction window will not face penalties for late filing, distinguishing between the correction phase and actual delayed submissions made beyond the prescribed timeframe.

The correction window is designed to streamline the student registration process and ensure accurate data compilation across CBSE-affiliated schools nationwide. Institutions are advised to verify their submissions carefully and utilize the available correction period to maintain compliance with board requirements for the upcoming academic session.
