The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced results for special Class XII examinations conducted for students in Gulf countries. The tests, held between October 23 and 28, 2026, were designed to provide an alternative assessment opportunity for Indian students based in West Asian nations.
Students can now access their results through DigiLocker, the digital document repository platform. The announcement marks the completion of the special examination cycle tailored for the Gulf region.
Under the new evaluation framework, the scores obtained in these special examinations will supersede candidates' previous assessment-based marks. This change is intended to provide students with an opportunity to improve their overall performance records.
The CBSE has been conducting region-specific examinations to accommodate Indian students studying abroad, particularly in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, where a significant diaspora population resides. These special test cycles aim to align with the academic schedules and circumstances of students in these regions.
Candidates are advised to verify their results on the DigiLocker platform and contact their respective schools for any clarifications regarding score updates or mark sheet issuance.
