CBSE releases practical exam schedule for Class 10, 12 students

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the practical examination datesheet for Class 10 and Class 12 students, providing clarity on assessment schedules ahead of the academic year. The notification specifically applies to winter-bound schools, where practical examinations are scheduled to commence from November 9 and conclude by December 19, 2026.

Practical examinations form a crucial component of the CBSE assessment framework, allowing students to demonstrate hands-on competency in subjects such as science, mathematics, and other practical disciplines. The staggered examination window enables schools to systematically conduct evaluations while managing logistical requirements.

Students enrolled in winter-bound schools are advised to review the detailed datesheet to ascertain examination dates for their respective subjects and classes. Schools are expected to communicate the specific schedule to their student body to ensure adequate preparation time.

The CBSE continues to streamline its examination calendars to accommodate the varying academic schedules followed by schools across India. Students and educational institutions are encouraged to refer to the official CBSE website for comprehensive information regarding the practical examination guidelines and subject-specific assessment criteria.
