CCTV captures three men removing PH flags in Kota Laksamana

A Pakatan Harapan candidate for the Kota Laksamana state assembly seat said closed-circuit television cameras have captured footage of three men removing his party's campaign banners from the area.

Low Chee Leong said a witness who observed the incident attempted to stop and pursue the three men, but they managed to escape toward a nearby residential apartment block.

The incident adds to concerns about the safety of campaign materials during the run-up to state elections. Election authorities have previously urged candidates to report any instances of vandalism or unauthorised removal of campaign signage.

Low said he was reviewing the CCTV footage and considering whether to lodge a formal complaint with local police regarding the incident.
