Chacarra's explosive round at the USD 4 million event has positioned him as the clear frontrunner heading into the closing stages of the championship. His nine-under-par 63 represents a strong display of form on the Delhi Golf Club course, demonstrating the consistency that has defined his season thus far.
The Spanish player's five-shot lead provides him with considerable breathing room as the tournament progresses, though professional golf has seen numerous instances where such advantages can narrow quickly. Chacarra's form this season has been notable, with multiple victories already recorded on the European Tour calendar.
The DP World India Championship remains one of South Asia's premier golf events, attracting top international talent to compete at one of India's most prestigious courses. The tournament continues to serve as a significant fixture on the professional golf calendar for the region.
