CHAS card holders offered 6% discount at FairPrice outlets

Blue CHAS card holders will be able to claim a 6 per cent discount on Thursdays, while orange card holders can access the same discount on Fridays at FairPrice outlets, according to a promotion running until January 1.

The Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS) is a government-subsidised healthcare programme that provides eligible Singapore citizens with outpatient subsidies and discounted services at participating clinics and allied health providers.

Card holders will need to present their valid CHAS card at participating FairPrice stores to receive the discount. The promotion applies to regular purchases at the supermarket chain, which operates numerous outlets across the island.

This initiative is part of broader efforts to support healthcare beneficiaries with additional savings on everyday essentials. The discount scheme comes as part of partnerships between FairPrice and social support programmes to assist cardholders in managing household expenses.

Eligible residents are encouraged to plan their supermarket visits on their designated discount days to maximise savings during the promotional period.
