Check Point Software names Krishnan V V as India and South Asia MD
Cybersecurity solutions provider Check Point Software Technologies has appointed veteran technology executive Krishnan V V as Managing Director and Country Head for India and South Asia, effective immediately.

Krishnan will assume responsibility for the company's regional business strategy, financial performance, market execution and organisational development across India and South Asia. He will report directly to Ruma Balasubramanian, President of Check Point's Asia Pacific and Japan division.
The appointment comes as cybersecurity demand intensifies across the region amid rapid digital transformation and artificial intelligence adoption. Krishnan brings more than 30 years of leadership experience in the technology sector, including roles at several major firms in infrastructure, enterprise software and security domains.
Most recently, Krishnan served as Country Director for Banking, Financial Services and Insurance at Palo Alto Networks. His career spans senior positions at Wipro, Sun Microsystems, Oracle, Symantec and Seclore, reflecting deep expertise across enterprise technology and security solutions.
