China inaugurates four new high-speed rail corridors

China has commissioned four additional high-speed rail lines, further strengthening its position as operator of the globe's most extensive high-speed rail network. The openings mark another significant milestone in the country's ongoing infrastructure development strategy.

The new lines are designed to enhance connectivity between major cities and regional centres, reducing travel times and facilitating passenger and freight movement across previously underserved corridors.
