GEORGE TOWN, Sept 18 — Penang police have detained a Chinese national in connection with an alleged theft attempt on a flight from Jakarta to Penang, according to authorities.
The suspect was taken into custody upon arrival at Penang International Airport after crew members and passengers reported the alleged incident during the flight. Police said the Chinese national is being investigated under relevant sections of the Penal Code pertaining to theft and related offences.
