CIABOC questions Speaker's residence staff over missing inventory records

The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) has launched an inquiry into the missing inventory documentation from the Speaker's official residence. Eight members of staff have been called to provide statements as part of the investigation.
Formal notices were issued by the Officer-in-Charge of CIABOC's Special Investigations Division, transmitted through the Deputy Director (Administration) of the Sri Lankan Parliament. The summons require the employees to record their accounts regarding the disappearance of the inventory book.
