The suspect is believed to have conspired with his brother to report the vehicle as stolen, then systematically disassemble it for spare parts to claim insurance compensation.
Police said the scheme unraveled when investigators cross-referenced insurance claims with vehicle tracking data and parts sales records. The operation is thought to have targeted multiple components of the luxury minivan, with the conspirators allegedly selling parts through unofficial channels to maximize profits.
