CJP Activist Protests After Being Called 'Pakistani' During School Visit

Tensions flared in Rampura-Kanvarpura village near Bagru in Jaipur when Common Man's Party (CJP) activists visited a government school to assess its conditions. According to the party, villagers obstructed the visit with violence, including stone-pelting, assault, and damage to vehicles.

The incident occurred as the activists attempted to document issues affecting students at the school. The confrontation prompted a sharp response from CJP activist Shivangi Sharma, who objected to being referred to as Pakistani by villagers during the altercation.

"I have lived and grown up in Jaipur," Sharma stated, emphasizing that she had visited the village in her capacity as an activist to raise concerns about the conditions facing schoolchildren. The activist's remarks highlighted the disconnect between the CJP team's intent to document grievances and the reception they received from local residents.

The party has filed complaints regarding the violence, seeking action against those responsible for the assault and property damage. The incident underscores ongoing tensions between activist groups and sections of the community over school conditions and governance issues in rural areas surrounding Jaipur.
