CJP founder alleges Delhi police subjected him to mental torture
Abhijeet Dipke, founder of the Cockroach Janta Party, has alleged that Delhi police subjected him and his family to mental torture during his detention on October 10. He claims authorities failed to inform his family or legal representatives of his whereabouts while he was held at the airport.

Dipke made the allegations on Monday, stating that he was detained at Delhi airport when his flight landed, ahead of a planned protest by his outfit at Jantar Mantar. According to Dipke, police did not notify his parents or lawyers about his custody or location during the detention period.
The CJP founder, who was in Santuk Pimpri in Hingoli district attending to family matters following his grandmother's death, said he was also prevented from accessing his cousin's contact number. He alleged that the sequence of events surrounding his grandmother's death compounded the stress experienced by his family during this period.
Dipke's claims have drawn a response from Delhi police, who released a video statement refuting allegations that he was not informed about his grandmother's death while in custody. The police have maintained that news of the death was conveyed to Dipke with appropriate sensitivity and that necessary assistance was provided. The incident highlights growing tensions between activist groups and law enforcement agencies in the capital ahead of planned demonstrations.
