CJP founder Dipke released on bail after peace bond violation arrest

Dipke was released on Saturday after police accepted assurances linked to the peace bond conditions imposed on him. According to senior police officials, the activist's release was contingent on his compliance with the bond requirements, though formal written orders were still awaited at the time of his release.

The CJP founder was taken into custody on Saturday morning, just hours after he stepped out of his residence in the Jhandewalan area of Delhi on Friday. His detention came moments before he was scheduled to join the party's "Lehra Do Tiranga" protest march at Connaught Place.

Dipke had originally furnished a peace bond on October 10. The fresh arrest on Saturday was based on allegations that he had violated the terms of that bond. Police sources indicated that his release followed assurances he provided regarding future compliance with the bond conditions.

Authorities said the written orders detailing the exact conditions of his conditional bail were under processing. The case highlights ongoing tensions surrounding protest activities and regulatory compliance in the national capital.
