CJP leader challenges PM Modi to display educational credentials

Abhijeet Dipke, a leading figure in civil society activism, issued a public challenge to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday, calling for both leaders to openly display their educational credentials. The statement came as Dipke sought to defend his organization against persistent allegations of political alignment.

Dipke firmly denied claims that his organisation functions as the "B team" of either the Indian National Congress or the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). He characterised such accusations as misrepresentations of his group's core mission and stated that political parties had no bearing on the organisation's activities.

The activist reiterated that his organisation's primary focus remains on students and education-related issues. He emphasised that the group operates independently from partisan political interests, working to address concerns within educational institutions across the country.

Dipke's remarks underscore growing tensions between civil society organisations and political establishments in India, with activist groups frequently facing accusations of partisan alignment from multiple quarters. His call for transparency regarding educational qualifications reflected broader debates on accountability and credibility in public discourse.
