CJP seeks permission for Jantar Mantar protest as INDIA bloc plans Supreme Court march

A delegation led by Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) officials, including senior leader Saurav Das, will approach the Parliament Street Police Station on Monday morning seeking clearance to organize a peaceful protest at Jantar Mantar, one of the capital's designated demonstration venues.

The party's application, scheduled for submission at 10 am, marks an effort to secure official sanction for the planned public gathering. The move comes as the opposition INDIA bloc coordinates its own demonstration strategy, with alliance members preparing to march to the Supreme Court to register their concerns.

The dual mobilization reflects intensified political activity among opposition parties in the national capital. While the CJP focuses on securing administrative approval through proper channels, the broader opposition coalition appears intent on amplifying its message through multiple venues and simultaneous demonstrations.

Jantar Mantar remains a focal point for protest activity in Delhi, with its status as a designated space enabling organizations to hold demonstrations following established procedures. The CJP's approach through official police channels suggests adherence to regulatory protocols governing public assemblies in the city.
