Coforge profit surges 56.5% on AI-driven deal execution

Coforge's consolidated net profit for the quarter ended September 30, 2026 jumped to Rs 588 crore from Rs 375.8 crore in the year-ago period, the company disclosed on Friday. Revenue from operations climbed to Rs 6,171 crore, up from Rs 4,016 crore a year earlier.

The IT services provider secured eight large contracts during the quarter—the highest number signed in any single quarter—across North America, Europe and Australia, bringing in a total contract value of USD 1.04 billion in new orders. Sudhir Singh, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director, said the margin expansion was being driven by the integration of artificial intelligence into existing fixed-price projects.

"Right now the margin uptake that we are seeing is in the existing fixed price projects where AI is getting infused," Singh said during the earnings call. The company raised its operational profit margin guidance for the next financial year to 17 per cent, from a prior range of 15.5 per cent to 16 per cent, signalling confidence in sustaining the upward trajectory.
