Colgate-Palmolive India has elevated an executive from Kenvue to serve as its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, the company announced. The appointment brings fresh leadership to the oral care and personal hygiene firm's Indian operations at a time of evolving consumer preferences in the region.
The new chief executive was most recently serving as Managing Director for India and South Asia at Kenvue, the consumer health entity that Johnson & Johnson separated from its pharmaceutical operations. Kenvue successfully listed as an independent publicly traded company in 2023, establishing itself as a significant player in consumer wellness products across the region.
Colgate-Palmolive India, a subsidiary of the global consumer products giant, has maintained a dominant position in India's oral care market for decades.
