College student's bid to strike murder charge fails in fatal Jalan Ampang case

KUALA LUMPUR — A college student's application to have a murder charge struck out has been dismissed by the court in connection with a fatal traffic collision on Jalan Ampang that claimed the lives of a couple.
The student had sought to have the charge removed, but the court found insufficient grounds to grant the application. The case stems from a vehicular incident that occurred on the busy Kuala Lumpur thoroughfare.
The couple died as a result of injuries sustained in the collision. The student is currently facing the serious charge of murder in relation to their deaths. Court proceedings are expected to continue as the case moves forward through the judicial system.
