Colt Data Centre Services and RMZ have commenced construction of a third data centre facility at their Navi Mumbai campus, designed to support growing demand for AI-ready infrastructure in India's financial hub.
The Mumbai 3 facility will deliver 64 megawatts of capacity upon completion, bringing the total operational capacity across the Navi Mumbai campus to 86 MW. The joint venture partners have outlined plans to develop the site to accommodate up to 148 MW of capacity, positioning the campus as a major hub for hyperscale computing and enterprise workloads.
The facility is being engineered to meet contemporary standards for artificial intelligence applications, reflecting the accelerating adoption of AI technologies across Indian enterprises and cloud service providers. The expansion underscores ongoing investment in data centre infrastructure across the National Capital Region and western India, where demand from technology firms, financial services, and digital platforms continues to outpace supply.
Colt DCS, a subsidiary of Colt Technology Services, operates multiple data centre facilities across India. RMZ is a leading Indian real estate developer with substantial operations in the data centre and technology park sectors. The partnership represents a significant commitment to expanding India's domestic infrastructure capacity for digital services.
