Columbia Asia marks 30 years with savings boost for newborns

Columbia Asia is marking its 30th anniversary by introducing a financial head-start for newborns through its 'Care Beyond Birth' campaign, which aims to extend healthcare commitment beyond delivery rooms into early childhood development.

Under the initiative called 'The HeadStart', developed in collaboration with Hong Leong Bank, eligible newborns will receive an opening savings deposit of RM1,000. The programme reflects the healthcare provider's expansion of services to support families during critical early years of child development.

The scheme aligns with Columbia Asia's three-decade presence in the region, during which the provider has established itself across multiple countries in South and Southeast Asia. The partnership with Hong Leong Bank enables the financial component of the initiative, combining healthcare and banking services for new parents.

Details regarding eligibility criteria and registration procedures for the 'Care Beyond Birth' programme are available through Columbia Asia facilities. The initiative represents the provider's ongoing commitment to comprehensive family healthcare services beyond traditional medical interventions.
