The Community Chest announced its financial disbursements for FY2025, distributing over S$80 million to support vulnerable populations across the island. The organisation channelled funds to more than 130,000 individuals and families through its grant-making and community welfare initiatives.

A significant portion of the disbursement, totalling around S$41 million, targeted programmes addressing critical social needs. These initiatives focused on providing support for individuals struggling with mental health challenges, children with special needs, and youth considered at risk.

The Community Chest, a leading social service organisation in Singapore, works with a network of member charities and social service agencies to deliver targeted assistance to those in need. The FY2025 figures underscore the organisation's commitment to addressing pressing social welfare concerns across multiple vulnerable demographic groups.

The disbursement reflects ongoing demand for social support services in Singapore, with mental health support and assistance for children with disabilities remaining key priority areas. The funding also highlighted the Community Chest's focus on youth intervention and at-risk youth programmes, recognising the importance of early intervention in youth development.
