ComfortDelGro, RATP Dev to operate Copenhagen metro from 2027

ComfortDelGro Corporation and RATP Dev, the international subsidiary of France's national rail operator SNCF, have secured a contract to operate Copenhagen Metro, the Danish capital's rapid transit system. The partnership will assume operational control from September 2027, according to an agreement with Copenhagen Metro operator Metroselskabet.

The Copenhagen Metro is one of the world's most advanced transit systems, distinguished by its continuous 24-hour service. Only two other metro networks globally maintain round-the-clock operations without interruption, highlighting the operational sophistication required for the Danish system.

ComfortDelGro, which is headquartered in Singapore and operates transport services across multiple countries, brings extensive expertise in managing urban transit networks. The collaboration with RATP Dev combines ComfortDelGro's operational experience with RATP Dev's international transit management capabilities.

The contract win represents a significant expansion of ComfortDelGro's presence in Europe, adding to its existing portfolio of international operations. RATP Dev operates metro and transport systems across numerous cities worldwide, leveraging decades of expertise from its French parent company.
