Vietnam and Mexico's Labour Party are moving to deepen their traditional friendship through enhanced exchanges and collaborative initiatives, according to statements from Vietnam's Communist Party (CPV). Tran Thanh Lam, deputy head of the CPV Central Committee's Commission for Publicity, outlined proposals for strengthening bilateral relations during recent discussions.

Lam emphasized the importance of deepening theoretical exchanges between the two parties while sharing practical experience in party building and national development strategies. The CPV official identified key areas for expanded cooperation, including education, scientific research, cultural exchanges, external information dissemination, press relations, publishing, and traditional medicine.

The proposed collaboration reflects broader efforts by Vietnam and Mexico to strengthen bilateral ties across multiple domains. Beyond party-level engagement, Vietnam and Mexico have been pursuing deeper trade connectivity, expanded parliamentary cooperation, and increased collaboration in energy and port operations. These initiatives demonstrate a comprehensive approach to enhancing relations between the two nations.

The CPV's outreach underscores Vietnam's commitment to fostering international partnerships with labour-oriented political movements while advancing shared interests in economic development and cultural exchange.
