The Congress party facilitated the participation of prominent student leaders in a major INDIA bloc protest march against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, reflecting the opposition coalition's effort to broaden the demonstration's reach beyond political circles. Student activists representing various organisations were invited to join the rally, which aimed to mount pressure on the poll panel chief over electoral governance concerns. The inclusion of student voices underscored the coalition's strategy to mobilise younger constituencies and student groups in its challenge to the poll body's leadership. Among those invited was Neha Bora, president of the All India Students' Association (AISA), the student wing of the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist), marking a notable presence of leftist student activism in the demonstration. The march highlighted how major opposition parties are increasingly coordinating with student organisations to amplify their political campaigns and expand the social base of their protest movements across India's youth demographic.
