The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 3 conducted a buy-bust operation in Barangay Dau, Mabalacat City, Pampanga on Friday, August 21, resulting in the arrest of the courier driver. Agents said the suspect yielded a significant quantity of suspected crystal methamphetamine during the operation.

The seized drugs, with an estimated street value of P3.4 million, were turned over to the PDEA laboratory for testing and confirmation. The PDEA identified the suspect only as 'Haji' in its initial statement released Saturday morning.

The arrest is part of ongoing enforcement operations targeting drug trafficking networks in the region. The suspect faces charges under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Investigators are determining whether the courier was working independently or as part of a larger drug distribution network.
