Bellino, a Sun Fast 3600 competing under the Royal Ocean Racing Club (RORC) banner, has secured the coveted Jazz Trophy following the conclusion of the 2024 season's points championship. The victory represents a fourth consecutive IRC Overall championship for the crew.
Rob Craigie skippered the yacht with RORC Commodore Deb Fish serving as co-skipper throughout the season. The pairing's consistent performance across multiple racing events enabled them to accumulate the necessary points to claim the championship title, the club confirmed on Monday.
The Jazz Trophy recognises excellence in IRC racing within the RORC's competitive calendar. The championship format allows competing yachts of varying designs to compete fairly through the use of handicap calculations, enabling boats across multiple classes to vie for overall honours.
