Suryakumar Yadav, the Mumbai Indians batsman and India's T20 specialist, has acquired a residential unit at Shahrukhz by Danube, a premium development located in Dubai Maritime City. The purchase represents the cricketer's inaugural property investment in the United Arab Emirates.
The Shahrukhz by Danube project, which was formally launched in November 2025, offers an array of high-end residential options including luxury apartments and penthouses. The waterfront development is positioned as a lifestyle destination, featuring an extensive range of amenities and facilities spanning over 40 categories to cater to residents' varied needs.
Situated strategically in Dubai Maritime City, the development combines residential appeal with proximity to key commercial and leisure hubs in the emirate. The acquisition underscores growing interest among Indian sports personalities in Gulf real estate investments, reflecting the region's appeal as a destination for premium property ownership.
The move aligns with increasing numbers of Indian celebrities and athletes diversifying their investment portfolios into Middle Eastern markets, where real estate has traditionally offered attractive returns and lifestyle benefits.
