MANILA — The Civil Service Commission (CSC) is maintaining its proposed P4.04 billion budget allocation for 2027 as it seeks to advance critical modernization programs across the government workforce, the agency's leadership told lawmakers this week.
CSC Chairperson Atty. Marilyn Barua-Yap presented the budget request during deliberations before the House committee on appropriations, underscoring the commission's commitment to upgrading civil service systems and operations in the coming year.
