CureBay, a Bhubaneswar-headquartered healthtech enterprise, has mobilised ₹100 crore in its Pre-Series C funding round, marking a significant expansion milestone for the firm. The funding composition includes ₹69 crore in equity investments alongside over ₹30 crore in debt financing, according to company disclosures.
The capital deployment will principally support two strategic objectives: broadening the company's physical clinic network across rural regions and bolstering its artificial intelligence infrastructure for healthcare delivery. This dual-pronged approach reflects growing industry focus on technological solutions addressing India's healthcare accessibility challenges, particularly in low-density population centres.
Rural healthcare remains a critical gap in India's medical ecosystem, with significant portions of the population lacking adequate access to quality diagnostic and treatment facilities. Healthtech platforms leveraging digital tools and distributed clinic models have increasingly positioned themselves as intermediaries bridging this divide.
The funding round underscores investor confidence in technology-enabled healthcare models targeting underserved demographics. CureBay's expansion strategy aligns with broader sector trends emphasising hybrid delivery—combining physical infrastructure with digital health capabilities to enhance service penetration and operational efficiency.
