The Bureau of Customs (BOC) is preparing to seize a Porsche 918 Spyder that actor Derek Ramsay handed over to the Land Transportation Office (LTO) last week. The luxury vehicle became the subject of investigation after authorities detected it operating on Philippine roads using what appeared to be a fraudulent license plate.

According to BOC officials, the seizure warrant will be issued as part of an ongoing probe into the vehicle's importation and registration status. The agency flagged concerns that the car may have been misdeclared upon entry into the country, potentially indicating customs violations related to its importation or valuation.

Ramsay voluntarily surrendered the vehicle to the LTO after it was flagged during routine enforcement operations. The actor's cooperation in turning over the car has been noted, though this has not halted the customs bureau's investigation into the matter.

The case highlights ongoing efforts by Philippine authorities to combat smuggling and customs fraud involving high-value imports. The BOC regularly conducts operations to identify vehicles that may have entered the country through improper documentation or declaration procedures.
