Customs seizes P10.6 million in crystal meth at Clark port
Philippine authorities have intercepted a massive shipment of crystal methamphetamine worth P10.696 million that was being smuggled through Clark port in Pampanga, concealed in packages labeled as wedding dresses.

The Bureau of Customs announced Wednesday that the suspected illegal drugs were discovered and seized following receipt of intelligence information regarding the suspicious shipment. The crystal meth, commonly known locally as shabu, had been carefully concealed within a cargo consignment that was falsely declared as containing wedding dresses, according to customs officials.
Port authorities at Clark in Pampanga initiated an inspection of the shipment based on the derogatory information they had received about the goods. Upon examination, they uncovered the hidden narcotics cache, leading to the immediate seizure of the contraband.
The Bureau of Customs did not provide additional details regarding the origin of the shipment or the intended destination of the illegal drugs. The case highlights ongoing efforts by Philippine authorities to combat drug trafficking operations that attempt to move large quantities of methamphetamine through the country's major ports.
