Cyberabad SHE Teams arrest 37 in decoy operation drive

The Cyberabad Police's She Teams launched coordinated decoy operations across the commissionerate limits, resulting in the arrest of 37 persons accused of various crimes targeting women. The special task force, dedicated to combating crimes against women, conducted the enforcement action to enhance safety in public spaces and deter criminal activities.

The operations employed decoy tactics to identify and apprehend offenders engaged in street harassment, eve-teasing, and other criminal behavior. By deploying plainclothes personnel and specially trained officers, the She Teams successfully intercepted multiple suspects attempting to target potential victims across different zones.

The arrested individuals have been booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and local police acts. The cases are being investigated further to establish the full extent of criminal involvement of each suspect.

The Cyberabad Police emphasized that the decoy operations are part of their ongoing efforts to ensure women's safety in public areas. Such enforcement drives aim to create a deterrent against potential offenders and reinforce the city's commitment to preventing crimes against women. The police urged citizens to report suspicious activities and cooperate with authorities in maintaining public safety.
