D-Mart posts 18.4% revenue growth to ₹19,206 crore in Q2

Avenue Supermarts Limited reported standalone revenue from operations of ₹19,206.18 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2026, marking an 18.4 per cent increase compared to ₹16,218.79 crore in the corresponding period last year, according to a regulatory filing released on Saturday.
The retail chain, operating under the D-Mart banner, demonstrated consistent sequential momentum as well, with quarterly revenue climbing 4.7 per cent from ₹18,343.49 crore in the June quarter, underscoring sustained consumer purchasing patterns across its store network.
The company's physical footprint expanded further, with its total store count reaching 518 outlets as of the end of the second quarter. This tally includes a newly reconstructed location in Sanpada, Navi Mumbai, which remained temporarily closed to customers during renovation work.
D-Mart, promoted by Radhakishan Damani and his family, operates a chain of discount retail outlets offering essential household and personal care products across multiple markets in India, leveraging its value-oriented business model to capture consumer segments across income levels.
