Da Lat's 11th Flower Festival, scheduled for 2026, will operate under the theme "Da Lat – A Harmony of Flowers and Music," organisers announced. The festival will feature 12 main programmes complemented by 28 accompanying activities, offering visitors a comprehensive celebration of the city's floral traditions and cultural offerings.
The festival announcement comes as Da Lat intensifies efforts to boost tourism appeal. These efforts include infrastructure improvements and expanded air connectivity, with regional carrier Vietravel Airlines having resumed its Hanoi-Da Lat route to facilitate visitor access.
Official plans indicate the festival organisers are targeting increased international visitor participation through enhanced programming and improved transportation links. The expanded festival schedule reflects Da Lat's strategy to leverage its reputation as a premier flower-growing destination and cultural hub in Vietnam's central highlands.
Recent improvements to visitor safety and infrastructure have accompanied the tourism expansion drive. The city has also worked to strengthen its position as a year-round destination, moving beyond seasonal tourism patterns that historically characterised the region.
