Da Nang forum stresses integrated planning for sustainable urban development

Da Nang hosted a forum bringing together stakeholders to examine integrated planning approaches essential for sustainable urban development across the region. Participants highlighted planning as a critical mechanism for converting development orientations into practical spatial organization and resource allocation decisions.

Forum discussions underscored the direct correlation between planning quality and effective governance. Leaders' strategic vision, understanding of development principles, and ability to tackle major challenges are reflected in the comprehensiveness and implementation of urban plans.

The gathering addressed broader regional planning concerns, with parallel discussions emerging on related topics including transparent Red River urban planning processes needed to build public consensus, and policy implementation frameworks driving Da Nang's sustainability agenda.

Tay Ninh province also featured in regional development discussions, with officials exploring pathways to unlock sustainable agricultural development through better planning coordination and resource management strategies across South and Southeast Asian regions.
