The Da Nang Special Economic Zone Authority (DSEZA) has formally approved the development plan for Free Trade Zone 7, marking the completion of the city's comprehensive FTZ infrastructure vision. The project represents the last major expansion component within the sprawling 1,881-hectare Da Nang Free Trade Zone complex.

According to the approved timeline, construction activities will commence during the fourth quarter of 2027. The development phase is expected to span approximately four years, positioning the zone for full commercial operation by 2032. This phased approach aligns with Da Nang's broader industrial growth strategy and foreign direct investment objectives.

The Da Nang Free Trade Zone has emerged as a key economic driver for the central region, attracting manufacturing and logistics enterprises seeking operational hubs in Southeast Asia. The approval of Zone 7 reflects sustained confidence in the city's business environment and infrastructure capabilities.

The completion of all seven zones is anticipated to enhance Da Nang's competitive positioning as a regional investment destination and strengthen its role in Vietnam's economic integration efforts across Southeast Asia.
