Da Nang launches ambitious 100-experience tourism strategy for 2026

Da Nang is positioning itself as a multifaceted destination by rolling out 100 new tourism experiences ahead of 2026, moving beyond its established reputation for beaches and architectural attractions. The initiative recognizes the city's broader potential across cultural offerings, regional cuisine, mountain and forest landscapes, and authentic community engagement.

The expansion strategy builds on 7,000 business connections across the tourism sector, creating a substantial network to support diverse visitor experiences. These partnerships are expected to facilitate coordination between hospitality operators, cultural institutions, and local enterprises to deliver integrated tourism packages.

City authorities are directing particular focus toward previously underutilized resources, including mountainous and forested areas surrounding Da Nang. Development of these natural attractions represents a significant growth opportunity as the city seeks to extend visitor duration and appeal to travelers seeking varied experiences beyond urban and coastal zones.

The diversification efforts align with broader economic ambitions. Da Nang has identified tourism among key sectors supporting its emergence as an international financial centre, suggesting the city views enhanced visitor experiences as complementary to financial services development and overall economic growth objectives.
