A federal parliamentarian has expressed concern over the prolonged delay in the Attorney General's Chambers (AGC) reaching a decision on a police investigation report concerning the Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar, despite the matter being referred nearly two months ago.

Rasah Member of Parliament Cha Kee Chin has called for clarity on the status of the AGC's decision regarding a police investigation into allegations involving the state's chief executive. Police had submitted their investigation papers to the AGC on September 29, but no determination has been made public since that referral.
The DAP politician stressed that stakeholders and the public remain in a state of uncertainty as the legal process appears to be stalled. Cha noted that while the police had completed their investigative work and fulfilled their procedural obligations by forwarding the case file to the AGC within the expected timeframe, the prosecutorial authority has yet to announce its course of action.
The delay has raised questions about the timeline for the AGC's review process and when a final decision can be expected. Political observers have noted the case has become a focal point of discussion among lawmakers, with calls for transparent communication about the investigative status.
The AGC has not issued a public statement regarding the matter. Typically, the office reviews police investigation reports and determines whether sufficient evidence exists to proceed with prosecution or if further action is warranted.
