Khairy Jamaluddin has suggested that the Democratic Action Party (DAP) may face political constraints if former Prime Minister Najib Razak is granted a pardon, despite the party's earlier declarations that his continued imprisonment was a non-negotiable position.
The former Umno Youth chief indicated that while DAP had publicly stated Najib's release would constitute a red line for the party, the coalition partner possessed flexibility in how it might respond to such a development.
