KUALA LUMPUR — Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL) has announced a comprehensive road resurfacing programme targeting 59 kilometres of protocol and main roads throughout the capital as part of efforts to enhance urban infrastructure and mobility.
The RM100 million project will focus on major thoroughfares and key routes that serve an estimated 1.3 million residents across the city. The work forms part of DBKL's ongoing commitment to maintain and upgrade critical road networks that support daily commuter flows and economic activity in the federal territory.
The resurfacing initiative is expected to address deteriorating road conditions and improve overall safety standards. DBKL has indicated that the project will be executed in phases to minimise disruption to traffic and commerce throughout the implementation period.
