Decomposed body discovered floating in Puerto Princesa's Honda Bay
An unidentified human remains in advanced decomposition were found in the waters off Honda Bay in Puerto Princesa City on Thursday. The discovery was made approximately 1.2 nautical miles from the Honda Bay Wharf.

Police Station 2 responded to the discovery at around 11 a.m. when the body was spotted floating in the waters near Purok Honda Bay in Barangay Sta. Lourdes, Puerto Princesa City. The remains were in an advanced state of decomposition at the time of discovery.
Authorities have not yet identified the deceased. The body has been secured and turned over to the proper authorities for further investigation and identification procedures.
The discovery marks another incident in the popular tourist destination's waters. Police are continuing their investigation to determine the identity of the deceased and the circumstances surrounding the death.
